Brewin Dolphin, the largest independent private client investment manager in the UK, is delighted to announce the arrival of a new team in its Guernsey office.

The team is led by Ian Smethurst and includes Stephanie Le Tissier and Robert Cable.  Ian Smethurst is a well known figure on Guernsey and has long specialised in discretionary investment management, having established that division for BZW in 1994, before joining Quilters in 1997. His team brings a wealth of equity investment experience and will strengthen Brewin Dolphin’s investment management offering in the Channel Islands.

Brewin Dolphin is the largest independent private client investment manager in the UK and manages approximately £17 billion of funds from 39 offices, of which £9.5 billion is on a discretionary basis. The Brewin Dolphin Guernsey office was established in 1997 and its Jersey office set up in 1972; the firm has since become one of the Channel Islands’ leading investment houses for private clients.
