Second interim dividend for year ending 30 September 2007

Brewin Dolphin Holdings PLC ("Brewin Dolphin" or the “Company")
The Directors of Brewin Dolphin are pleased to announce that the Company will pay a second interim dividend as follows:

| Dividend per Share | 3.375p |
This makes a total for the year of 6.25 pence, an increase of 19% over 2006.
As announced at our AGM on 23 February 2007, the Board has decided since there is no advantage in having two interim dividends that next year we will adopt the more usual practice of declaring interim and final dividends. The Board propose to declare a final dividend in late November 2007 with our preliminary announcement, payable in April 2008.
