This notification relates to a transaction notified in accordance with Disclosure Rules 3.1.4R (1) (a).
On 8 March 2010, Brewin Dolphin Holdings PLC received notification that Barry Mark Howard, Executive Director, has today
acquired 20,000 Ordinary Shares of 1 pence each ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 131.4p each, representing 0.0088% of the
total issued share capital of the Company.
His resultant holding in the Company is now 213,326 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 0.0936% of the total issued
share capital of the Company, of these Ordinary Shares 125,234 are nil paid. The total number of Ordinary Shares over which
he holds options is 146,159.
